Let me introduce you to eRV. My Recreational Vehicle (eRV) is 29 feet long...it has one bedroom, a bathroom, a shower, a kitchen, a dining table, a sofa and a lot of storage cabinets....he is my very comfortable home on-the-road. eRV is mounted on a Ford Truck bed and it drives very smoothly...a Winnebago Itasca Spirit built in Forest City, Iowa (near my hometown of Mason City!). He is really proud of his upbringing in Iowa...says "Go Hawks! a lot!!!
Well, ole eRV and I travel from place to place at 55 - 65 miles per hour...he gets 8 miles per gallon and a lot of lov'in from the driver!!! eRV has taken me 3,000 miles from Maine to Florida to The Keys to Alabama to Mississippi to Louisiana and to Texas....a wonderful carrier eRV has been! His mechanics are sound (knock on wood..paneling!) and his direction is true.
I left Maine in late November and eRV has been my constant companion for 3.5 months....and, very comfortably I refrain!!! eRV has recently acquired a pal ... her name is Honda Del Sol. She is a red 2-door gas-sipper beauty .... gets 35 MPH, you see!! She follows eRV everywhere we go and, when she unhooks from her eRV, he pouts in a jealous sag...poor eRV! Most of the beauty I see is thanks to Honda Del Sol ... sun roof and all!! Hey, eRV gets us there safely, though!!!
Yes, I plan to drive eRV all over North America, pulling Honda Del Sol along for side trips to all of the wonders of our land. As you can see from this BLOG, we are enjoying it all!! Ya, we'll strive to keep you well informed about our travels in 2009.
