Fall in Middle America

The fall leaves are so colorful.
Yellow, Orange, Green and Red.
Nearly as colorful as a clown's painted head.

The fall leaves are changing.
From rusty to dead.
Easily falling to make a full bed.

The fall leaves are rotting.
Under the first snows of fall.
I was to lazy to rake 'em at all.

The fall leaves are disappearing.
Spring is coming, not far.
Some remain...cuz my rake's in the car.

The fall leaves are gone, but again I see change.
Green colors replaced again with a colorful scene.
Drats...it's almost time for the rake not to be seen.
